Shining One Meditation with Light.

Fill a small water bottle with water and add 8 – 10 drops of your chakra essence.
Find a peaceful place in nature where you will not be disturbed for 10 -20 minutes.
Take slow, purposeful, periodic sips of your water throughout this meditation.

Find a comfortable place to sit, with your legs crossed and spine tall and uplifted.
relax and breath in the fresh air.
Observe your breath and slowly begin to gently deepen your inhale and lengthen your exhale.
relax.
close your eyes if you like, or leave them open.
bring your awareness to your heart centre, you can even place your hands over your heart.
Ask to receive the nourishing support of the essence and of the place your are sitting in.
relax, breath, receive.
Feel the earth under your body.
Listen to the sounds around you.
See the beauty around you.
go back to your heart and receive even more. Listen and feel and see even more deeply. Let go of any thoughts or worries that may be distracting you. Surrender to the beauty.
Connect with the light you feel growing in your heart with each breath.
Know that you are fully supported by the earth.
Know that every Being around you including the trees and the wind and the animals, and all that is unseen, can feel the light growing in your heart as well.
When you feel done, you can take a moment to thank the place for supporting you in your practice. You could leave the rest of your essence water for a plant, as a gratitude offering. You may want to journal about your experience or create a drawing.

Accept that you may have limitations such as fears of bugs or wildlife, discomfort with cold or dampness, inability to focus, but you are doing it and with time and persistent practice, you will overcome your limitations.
